Kota My Triceratops is Interactive
Kota will “laugh” if you rub his chin or tickle his tummy. Touch Kota’s nose and he’ll sniff your hand looking for something good to eat. The sound sensor in Kota’s head enables him to respond if you roar at him.
If you put a leafy “treat” in Kota’s mouth, he’ll start to munch on it to satisfy his dino-sized appetite.
Kota My Triceratops Sound Effects
Kota has two different modes for action. In play mode he makes roaring, munching, and stomping sounds as he plays with your child. Put him in music mode one of four different adventure songs will play as your child takes his dino-friend on an adventure.
Kota My Triceratops Design
This dino-friend comes with scaly look, but he has a kid-friendly, soft hide. A handle partially hidden behind Kota’s ears makes a convenient place for your child to hold on while sitting on Kota’s back. Kotas’ moving horns and head, along with his blinking eyes, makes him seem almost real.
Kota is great for individual play or for sharing with friends. He can hold children up to 60 pounds in weight. And his movements and sounds are sure to create quite a stir in the “base camp” of your child and her or his explorer friends.

Considerations
Before you make your purchase, here are some things you’ll want to know about Kota My Triceratops.
- Before your child can begin playing with Kota an adult will need to perform some assembly.
- At about 3 feet long and 2 2/1 feet tall, Kota is large, making him a bit tricky to move. Taking him other places usually will not be practical.
- When smaller kids sit on Kota’s back, they are fairly high off the ground. You may need to supervise them pretty closely, especially when they are first learning how to “ride” the up and down movement of a pre-historic beast like Kota.
- Kota does not actually walk — his movements are “in-place” motions; this behavior may be unexpected, but it does make for a safer, more stable play experience
